8. Hey, genius, where in the article does it say that the vaccine was only for high-risk employees?
Citigroup got 1200 units.

10. Citigroup
in NYC has 25000 employees. That works out to a pretty average 4.8% which to me sounds about right to cover at risk employees. Unless of course you have some kind of evidence to the contrary, I'd call this little conspiracy theory dead before it even gets off the ground.

6. Read the article.
It says vaccine was given to those firms to vaccinate ALL their employees. So, please, stop throwing around baseless accusations filled w/ "!!!!!!!!!!!".

4. My niece is a high-risk person w/an auto-immune illness
Edited on Thu Nov-05-09 06:37 PM by clear eye
that requires her to take immune-suppressing drugs. She lives in suburban NYC, but her doctor couldn't get the vaccine for her. Her doctor is a rheumatologist who deals w/ a lot of patients who are on immuno-suppressants for their conditions.

This stings.

11. That would be fine if it were a vaccine against the greed virus.
But few on Wall St. would probably take it.

13. This is standard practice in MN for seasonal flu shots.
Our health care coop does it. They send over health care workers to vaccinate people because we have so many people in close quarters in buildings with minimal air circulation.

Unfortunately we have not been offered H1N1 yet because this time it is being filtered through state agencies in coordination with medical care facilities only. I am high risk and would love to have the shot, however, at this point I have been exposed several times and still haven't gotten it. I think I'm probably immune.

I know my company would love to have the health care workers come and administer it. We have already had two major outbreaks and some of our employee's children have been hospitalized. They had to fumigate our building it was so bad.

It would be interesting to know if the vaccinations on Wall Street are also coordinated with an insurance provider. These are huge businesses with very large concentrations of young employees and it does make sense to vaccinate your high risk employees. Wall Street banks are not just made up of gluttonous pigs. There are hundreds of thousands of low and middle income people who work at these banks as well.

This is much ado about nothing.
