the RNC just called me for a donation(a good laugh I think)

Back in 1992 the Dems had no primary, so I went to the poll and declared as a Republican so I could vote in the Republican primary against our governor for life, Terry Branstadt.
The repugs have not let me alone since. This has led to some really humorous situations, especially in the past 6 or so years. Once I thought I gave a congressman a heart attack when I pulled my "republican card" out of my pocket.
Here is today's tale:


RNC: Is Mr. xxxx there?
Me: I be Mr. xxxxx.
RNC: This is the RNC. After our smashing victories in NJ and Va Tuesday the Republican party is setting its sights on a tremendous repudiation of the Obama admin and its tax and spend policies. Can you help us to victory with a contribution of $500?
Me: I lost my job under George W. Bush. And his crash wiped out my retirement savings.
RNC: Did that in any way color your political leanings? ( he really said that) Do you still support Republican policies?
Me: You fucking right it did. I need single payer health care right now. You guys gonna get that?
RNC (shakily) nnno
Me: That guy was the worst fucking leader of anything ever. #2 was Herbert Hoover. You gonna deny they were republicans?
RNC: Not the first time I have heard that today.
Me (breaking in) and Michael Steele got to be about the dumbest sum bitch around.
RNC: This call was paid for ........
Me: And your candidates stink.
RNC: (click)

2. wow! that was great!!. don't change party affiliations so you

could be kept in the loop on their next evil plans. My husband who was a republican, still is registered as one, and he gets calls all the time from the RNC, mailing and brochures.

I am going to print this for him in case he gets another call from them. I am sure they will be calling soon.

3. Better response is to have a VERY LOUD whistle on hand. Once the call is identified as coming

from the pukes, just give them your answer AS LOUD AS YOU CAN.

Tends to keep away the cretins for a while, at least.

Besides jobs are so short that my experience is that many of their callers are so desperate that they will do anything.
I have no reason to hurt them.

12. I have had some experience. I get at least one call a year

I almost said something right at first, but my brain said "whoa, have some fun."
In the past i have had one of their callers crying because of her situation that she knew the repugs were sorry for
Another time I had a wife blow up when she found out her husband had been lying to her about health care I'll never forget her "by god, wait til I get home. We're going to have a talk."

14. I wrote on the 2006 republican card during the holidays that year.

I will look and see if I can find it. It was a hoot. And not my fault. I just went with the flow.
