We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

4. They probably read it but they either
ignore it or twist it up like a Bush pretzel.

3. I'll bet he told the crowd of teabaggers that it says "no government healthcare allowed".
and they believed him.

5. Quoted wrong document
According to Rich Sanchez on CNN, Boehner quoted the Declaration of Independence while holding up the Constitution, and none of the Republican idiots behind him seemed to know the difference.

6. I heard that on Olbermann as well
In fact Keith had a clip of Boehner holding up his copy of the Constitution and saying "As it says in the Preamble to the Constitution.." then he proceded to quote the opening lines of the Declaration.

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.
