Pretty hilarious to look on the AP wire and see that the AP, at least, is playing along and calling today's teabaggery a "Republican news conference on health care."
Right.
But - as reported by Josh Marshall - it's pretty obvious to see why Bachmann and the teabaggers wanted it labeled that. They're worried that their little hissy fits are becoming less and less newsworthy over time - which is true.
It's why Fox News ran that ad about the other networks "missing" the story - the teabaggers realize the only way they gain any more ground than they've already got is if they can get continuous, sustained news coverage.
But you can't do the same thing time and again and expect the media to front-page it every single time. That's just the way it works; the teabaggers call it proof of bias against their cause.
