Tuesday's utterly shameless House vote
On Tuesday the House voted overwhelmingly for a bill entitled:

"Calling on the President and the Secretary of State to oppose unequivocally any endorsement or consideration of the "Report of the United Nations Fact Finding Mission on the Gaza Conflict" in multilateral fora.

The vote was 344 for the bill, 36 against it, 22 voting present and 30 not voting.

Yes, this is more evidence of AIPAC's undue influence, but just a surely it's about entrenched institutional behavior.

I've written my rep and expressed my disappointment with his vote of present- yeah, it's better than voting for it, but it's just not good enough. You can find out how your rep voted here:

And please folks, no comments about how Israel controls the U.S. Not only is that silly and untrue, but it's the type of comment that gets anything to do with Israel sent to I/P. This is about the U.S. and Israel far more than it's about I/P.

3. Weiner and Grayson vote YEA. Not such tough guys in this case.
At least Barbara Lee can always be counted on to do the right thing.
