While we are being amused by Bachmann's Last Stand...

Can we get out of the effing wars of choice now, please? It might help solve health care, financial reform, energy issues, and probably some security issues.

And get them and us jobs when they get back!

That is all. Back to the circus.

2. While we dismiss Bachman and I admit she is a wingnut and a half
the GOP are noisily working their way back. Watch 2012.

3. If She's The Future...The Only Place They're Heading Is Further Off The Cliff...
I recall in 2005 the corporate media all but wrote the Democratic party as dead...or at least they hoped. But that wasn't the case as the netroots began to step forward and the ineptness of the booosh regime helped make Democrats look rational and acceptable. The party stopped fighting among itself and put a strong effort to expand the party's base (50 state strategy) and fill the middle ground where elections are won.

As long as the rushpublicans continue to form circular firing squads and try to obstruct, they'll be stuck in the wilderness. This will especially be the case should President Obama succede in reforming healthcare, scaling down the military adventurism and the economy rebounds. The GOOP has nothing...no ideas or real appeal and instead of moving into the middle, they're still driving moderates from their ranks.

It's way too soon to predict 2012 just like it was to predict 2008 back in '05. The GOOP bench is bare...there is no Obama in their ranks, just the Bachmanns and Palins. And if the teabaggers go ahead and challenge moderates next year, it could create a rift that is impossible to gap. I'm already predicting we'll see a third party in 2012. Yep, watch as the GOOP continues to "cleanse" itself of any respectability.
