We are doomed
When posters on this site are buying into garbage like Ned Lamont being the leader of the antiwar sentiment clearing the way for progressive candidates, I know we are losing the war when it comes to educating our fellow americans.

So seriously sad.

2. Beat Joe Lieberman in the CT Democratic primaries
caused Lieberman to run as an independent and won.

Was like the NY-34: many outsiders got involved in local elections and their candidate lost.

3. He's the guy who would be the junior senator from Connecticut right now
If that state had laws like most other states, preventing primary losers from forming fictional "political parties" to get back in the general election.

5. You really need to back up your allegations with some
source material and links. Ned Lamont is an important figure in the anti-war movement. He has facts. Now please put up yours.

6. Show me how he was important at all

Then I might waste my time showing you how insignificant he was.

Meh screw it. Here is the speech that started it

http://www.crocuta.net/Dean/Transcript_of_Dean_Sacramento_Speech_15March2003.htm

Ned didnt show up for three years after and didnt make a peep about the war till he figured out it might help his chances. Long after we marched in the streets.
