A GREAT QUOTE FROM A SOILDER I DO KNOW-Frank Szczepanski The only thing that this ex-vet knows is that
Obama has more blood on his hands with Afghanistan than Bush did, and by procrastinating on sending more troops
over( waiting for yesterdays election to end) he will have even more. You can only blame Bush for so long.
He doesn't want to be accountable for his decisions. Somebody name one good (valid) thing that Obama has done.

I saw this on my way out the door, and quickly posted Sonya Sotomayor to the USSC. If anyone else would like to add something amazing, I'd appreciate it. You have NOOOOOO idea how bad my day has been.

1. Obama cut taxes for those making less than $250,000. 95% of Americans.

2. Huh?
Obama already sent 30,000 more troops to Afghanistan.
And, this guy thinks Obama will have more blood on his hands if he doesn't send more?

Doesn't he understand that more blood flows from more soldiers firing more bullets?

4. The guy needs to read a few books written about Afghanistan.
I suggest The Graveyard of Empires written by Seth Jones. Anyone who has read this book will know the difficult decision facing our president. Nothing is difficult for the guy who does not have to do the job.

5. Stupid question here but...
What is an "ex-vet"? Does that mean the person was in the service then got out then back in again? Or does it mean that they used to be a veterinarian?

7. Not even close.
Bush systematically murdered people for dozens of years while he held public office. You can't lay any of this on President Obama. Some of us will remember the truth, no matter how hard the right tries to spin their lies. I know for a certainty that Obama would not have started two unnecessary wars. He would have done things much differently than the Bush/Cheney cabal. His hands are clean. Unfortunately, he is left with one hell of a mess and it's a bit more complicated than armchair/couch potato generals think.

10. Yes, Afghanistan is America's war
Most Americans would agree with that. Bush couldn't even execute a war correctly when the world really was on his side. When Obama makes the upcoming decision on strategy, it will become his war.

Iraq is the war Bush lied us into. That will always be Bush's mess, 100%.

11. Calls him/herself an "ex-vet"?
Color me skeptical. And wants more lives spent in Afghanistan? Color me even more skeptical.

14. I do that, too, although most of the time...
...it just feels like a waste of time. What I do do, is sometimes ask them to post it on their own wall, rather than spout their craziness on one of my comment threads. That seems to work...

15. Bush waited for the 2004 election to end before he invaded Fallujah
Edited on Thu Nov-05-09 09:42 PM by Renew Deal
Things got worse and worse, but Bush didn't do anything about it because he didn't want it to hurt his "re-election" chances. So if you want to talk about blood on hands, look in the mirror.
