Sick of being made a second class citizen because of OTHER people's beliefs.
I am a transgender guy,and I like guys.
I was born in a female body. When I was female that would be a heterosexual orientation. But now as a trans-guy I am gay.
I didn't choose the body,I was born into .I felt stuck in it.
But I chose to face the hatred and bigotry and even abuse of ignorant people to become what I knew I always was.A guy.
I look different now,and everyday more hair sprouts on my chin, everyday I feel better, with every change I HAD to do,for the sake of my sanity, and my life.

I tried to kill my female body via suicide,I could not always pretend to"be a girl" or act"normal"enough .I tried to end my life because other people and professionals who could help but chose not to became "gatekeepers". They could not understand why I was not happy being a female. Why it was a failure to go on trying to make my mind and soul fit the wrong body, they tortured me to make me fit a wrong body. The damage has wounded me as they denied me my real gender. But now endocrinology recognizes transgender as an actual medical condition and have made protocols for treating people with transgender. Now several surgeries later, I find I am becoming more at peace inside as my body becomes more in line with who I am.

It's my right as a person to BE who I am even if it BOTHERS or upsets other people and challenges their religious beliefs. And if a religion says I deserve death for being who I am,Than maybe that religion is evil.
I have had enough of this religious driven bigotry, this faith based bullying to force GBLT people into second class citizenship.

Sometimes people who don't get it,feel icky or will not understand GBLT people are HUMAN BEINGS too with Inalienable rights need to STFU and grow up and get their religion OUT of MY way and out of the government process.
And tell me why is the state involved in the marriage business anyway? Eugenics? Property? Why?

If I ever marry again it will be to another male.a GAY marriage.
And I have a right to BE who I am and LOVE whom I LOVE the state should have NOTHING to say about that, nor should any church who wouldn't let an "abomination" like me live if said church was in control of the state. And yes I am angry at people who would use4 religion to justify killing me or making me a second class citizen.

If I was able to make criteria for elections I would insist a candidates RELIGION be kept OUT of the state legislation process, lawmaking and politics, forever. And if a religious believer uses religion to legislate bigotry it means the tree of liberty needs watering.

5. Well said!
There is supposed to be a separation of church and state. It is what the founders intended. It has been steadily eroded by fanatics who absolutely cannot let other people be who they are, think what they want, or live the life of their own choosing.

You are a first class citizen, and don't let anyone convince you that you aren't. It is a hard and exhausting fight that you are fighting, but in your post I see the grace and courage it will take for you to go on fighting until you win.

In the meantime keep doing what you are doing and know that most rational people do see you as a first class citizen with all of the rights you should be enjoying but are not because of a vocal and irrational minority. To me you are a beautiful person and as OP says, 100% accepted.:pals:

6. K&R! And furthermore, I'm sure you even face discrimination
in the GLB community.

*Hugs to you* and I'm glad you are embracing who you are!

All anyone who is different wants is to be accepted. And we all deserve it.

7. You just don't get it. Your feelings for men are false.

While parting seas, talking snakes, Mt Everest underwater, virgins who have babies and bringing the dead back to life are reality!

EDIT: Two minutes after I read it... Feelings for MEN, not women.:dunce:

8. yeah
Thing that irritates me is there is an unspoken assumption in the trans community I have ran into.It is that trans men tend to like women. That notion most trans-men are basically hetero males. I'm not a hetero male. And because the thing about women and trans guys is so widely assumed,I went so far as to try,and see if women did anything for me at all. I did not enjoy it. I just wasen't attracted to women.I'm a trans-guy who likes guys.
And I suspect there are more transmen who like men out there than is assumed too.

10. Gay man here. I'm with you sister.
Anyhow, I tried to make a snarky point about relisious beliefs and screwed that up.

But in liking men, welcome to the gay man's slut club! As Valerie Perrine once said... "Of course I can understand gay guys. I mean, who wouldn't like cock?"
