A reason for decreased Democratic voter turnout that's been overlooked
Edited on Wed Nov-04-09 01:00 PM by Tony_FLADEM
After Bill Clinton was elected president, turnout among Democratic voters decreased because Democratic candidates were not as charasmatic as Bill Clinton.

The same thing happened in 2009 and will probably occur in 2010.

3. Charisma can be acquired by voting for single payer.

4. Then again when you watch their performance on the health care negotiations you
get an overwhelming feeling of futility. They start by conceding single payer even before they sit down to the table. We ask them for a system without insurance company involvement because we don't trust them and we get just the opposite. We get a law that mandates we buy insurance under penalty of law. I'm almost afraid to ask anything more from them they suck so bad.

6. Well just think AND
I am not dumping on Deeds. But have you ever seen a more pitiful candidate. The republicans turn out and vote for their candidate (most of the times) no matter how blah they are, but you are correct democrats tend to stay home unless they have a charismatic candidate.

8. turnout is always low in mid-term elections. And this wasn't even a mid-term
2010 we really do need to GOTV. Teabaggers will be out in full force.
