In a surprise announcement this morning, following Sarah Palin's embarrassing support of Hoffman in the NY-23 Congressional District race, failed Governor of Alaska Palin announced that she would send $10 to every person who bought her soon-to-be-released book, Going Rogue directly from her web site.

Palin said to our reporter, Hugh Moran, "I have to do something, after I lost that election for that nice Mr. Hoffman, and I need to get myself some readers for my book which I didn't write and haven't even read yet also. I don't know what has happened to my enormous popularity but hanging around with teabaggers seems to have not worked too well and Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh also. So, I want people to read my book and I'm looking forward to reading it also and people can buy the book from my web site and I'll send them a nice crisp $10 bill. You don't have to go to that Amazon or Barnes and Whipple or whatever it's called when you can get a book from me and earn $10, and you don't have to read it or anything and it's OK because I didn't write it anyhow and I just need sales to be good so I can go on that lecture circuit and hang out with important people and run for President in 2012 also..."

Ms. Palin continued, but reporter Moran's digital voice recorder ran out of memory space, so we can't bring you the rest of her remarks.
