Democrats will allow Republicans to walk all over them and say nothing

because Democrats today want to be nicey,nice.."dont say anything that will upset the Repukes.."We must have bipartisanship" etc etc..
Attitudes like this will cause them to get their ass kicked in 2010 and nobody in the Democratic party cares..Howard Dean is willing to accept a watered down healthcare reform package and be glad we got it..
No ...Democrats have the Majority and it is time they start acting like it or they will be the minority in 2010 and unless Obama starts showing that he is a leader and use the Majority to his advantage and stop kissing Republicans backside he will be a one term President.
Senator Reid is now saying that healthcare reform will not pass through the Senate until next year..Well folks that is not acceptable..If it does not pass now we wont see healthcare reform. Besides that we are not sure we will have a Majority next year and unless Senator Reid gets a backbone then he especially may not be there and shouldn't.

So Democrats in Washington...Start acting like Democrats or we lose..

The Democrats are supposed to lose. Dems in power still represent the wealthiest of the wealthy. They have to "lose" on any issue which favors "the people" over their group. But they know, to win as Democrats, they have to spew empty populist rhetoric they'll never make good on. That's the game.

Repubs just tell their base that what's good for the wealthy is good for them. Makes it easier on them, since they don't have to take a dive and make it look good, like the Dems.
