Last night's election...
Edited on Wed Nov-04-09 08:20 AM by joecool65
...was simply an election. GOP won two governorships, Dems won two houses in the House, gay rights lost in Maine, won in Washington.
I could go on and on about other results, but it was simply an election.
The best analogy to last night's election might be an NFL football game. One game out of 16 does not make or break a season for a team. If a team loses ones game, they lose the game. The pundits will make it sound like the loss ends the season for the team, even though it is only one loss. A win and it seems like the world has never been better, but it is simply one win. The pundits will make it sound like that win deserves status among the greatest sports prizes ever in history.
No reason to get too worked up one way or another about last night's results.
It was simply an election.

1. We need Dr. Dean back. With him, we would have won NJ
and VA. He would have organized a huuuuge GOTV effort at a local level. Our chairman is lame ass duck, just like P. Obama is behaving.

3. How long will it take the dem PTB to realize that Dean's leadership
was hugely influential in the dem's majority?

Will they ever?
