Does anyone ever look at this site?

Whenever I am curious what conservatives/Republicans are thinking, I usually go to Free Republic. Or see what Drudge's headline is. Or go to Michelle Malkin's web site. I know there's other ones, but stuff like Breitbart etc. doesn't interest me. I also watch Glenn Beck videos.

I used to check Little Green Footballs, but the people who run that site began getting freaked out about the Glenn Becks, the tea parties and all of that to where it was no longer a typical right wing frothing web site. I stopped looking into it, because they started to sound more sane (but not sane enough to be of interest, like The Nation or something).

I checked it out for the first time in a while today. They give a good idea of the thinking of a moderate center-right conservative who is a little freaked out by the Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, tea party, Tiller assassinating, Holocaust museum shooting, "Down with Obongo the Kenyan without a birth certificate who is a secret Muslim communist" crowd.

2. If I'm not mistaken the site takes it's name from the video footage of the Iraq invasion.

The luminescent starlight scope video footage that made tracer rounds fired by combat troops look like "little green footballs". Yeah... fuck those guys, they can suck the pipe for all I care.

3. Just Turn On Hate Radio...

No need to give any of these losers any hits or attention. All they'll do is parrot what rushbo is ranting anyway.

Plus, be assured, if there's a site that goes more unhinged than their normal wingnutty self, a DU'er is sure to find it and post it here.

4. LGF has become the voice of moderation

Johnson is pro-science, and rejects the far-right Christian hysteria. They are far more libertarian and tolerant there than at FR. They represent what a worthy opponent might look like in a truly competitive system. You could have a real argument with them about individual rights vs. collective responsibilities, for example.
