I'm watching CNN and Annamarie Cox has me hooting with laughter. She destroyed that Amanda Nutter from the far right. Meanwhile Ben Stein is attacking the NY23 Rethug and calling her a traitor. How dare a Rethug sell out the party. Of course it missed him that the lunatics had already sold out the party with the RW candidate..or did they?

The real fun was in CNN with Anna Marie Cox, Amanda Carpenter, Ben Stein and Jesse Ventura. That was an absolute ball. Anna Marie destroyed that bat shit crazy woman from the Washington Times.
Ben and Amanda are seriously delusional about what constitutes the far right. When they praised Rush as being a great spokesman for the party, then said he wasn't THAT conservative, I almost lost it. Or does the "liberal media" seem to be ignoring the NY vote in favor of the VA & NJ votes. Governors vs. antebellum party affiliation changing hands which attracted marquee national talent as a battleground for the minority party in search of an identity.

Bottom line - only Dems won House seats last night and NY23 is an historic win be any measure. It's also a crushing blow to the RW loonies - Palin et al. Don't spare the regular Rethugs either - they went along with the attacks on their own party's candidate.
She oost the GOOP Florida last year and has become a national punchline. But it wasn't just Mooselini...it was the whole teabag party that deserves "credit" here...Armey, Palwenty even Pataki. A great analysis from a local pointed out how many people in the district were offended at all these outsiders coming in to screw around in their politics. The great unhinged lost a seat their corrupt party had held for nearly 150 years and it wasn't even close. It also helped that Hoffman was an awful candidate...had no experience nor knowledge of issues in the district. The mighty right wing propaganda machine took the biggest hit as all the rantings of Dreck and Rushbo all but guaranteed last night's loss. Dare I say "I told you so".
The good thing is the teabaggers will try to spin this as some big victory...not over Democrats, but over their own disintigrating party and they could end up swiftboating and teabagging a bunch of other candidates next year...blowing any chance for a rushpublican revival. Congrats to Congressman-elect Bill Owens!
