8. From Mudflats
Owens Takes New York’s 23rd District (Recipe Included)
3 11 2009

Thought I’d share a newly developed recipe for Elephant Upside-Down Surprise Cake.

First you take a congressional district that has had Republican representation in the U.S. House of Representatives since two decades before the Civil War, then add a teabag, pour on some hot steamin’ Sarah Palin, add a squeeze of Rush Limbaugh, then carefully strain the mixture until there is no trace of the moderate Republican. Then just wait and watch. Pretty soon you’ll have….Surprise! A Democrat!

12. Dems across the land can now send thank you notes to Our Lady of Perpetual Meddling
There you go folks. Dems across the land can now send thank you notes to Our Lady of Perpetual Meddling. Can’t wait to find out whose fault THIS one is going to be.

The Mudflats have been sterling for the last year and change. It appears their job isn't quiet done yet, but I believe they are getting real close to slamming the case shut.

7. This will really piss them off
Sarah Palin et. al weren't even bothered with NJ or VA. This is the one the wingers cared about and they lost. The war in the GOP will only intensify because of this. Fingers will be pointed.

What they probably won't notice is that Christie won because the winger candidate was half abandoned in NJ. Wingers would have lost there too if the they had persisted.

9. So much for the Conservative Party.

And once again PimpleButt Limbaugh is proven a loudmouth gas bag. I love it.
So how's that Operation Chaos going, OxyRush?

11. Here is a quote from Hoffman
Courtesy of the NY Times

"I think that the Republican Party is broad enough to handle many different candidates, but the fact is that I'm a common sense Conservative Republican — I am not a radical," Hoffman said Monday. "The point is that Assemblywoman Scozzafava was not a moderate Republican, she was an ultraliberal Republican."
