Who is running those nasty scare tactic ads in Florida to scare seniors that we're after their
Medicare?

They have a balloon blowing up and they lie their asses off about how the gov't is gonna take away their Medicare funding.

4. I do not mean to sound negative but it is our own party's fault.
You cannot win anything unless you keep the people informed as
to what you are doing and where you are taking them.

Through out the entire Health Insurance Reform. They have
not fought the Republicans. The GOP picked up all the space
left by "hiding" Democrats and filled that space with their
interpretation of what the Democrats were doing. They continue
to put their messages out.

A serious mistake(IMO) was letting the Hill do the Stimulus
and Health Care with no explanations.

5. I saw the one with the 3 things that congress critters must promise not to vote
for and it is completely misleading and implies any deal with a public option would ration senior medicare.

6. My theory and my theory only
There are 2 great edifaces in our current structure: Pharma and Insurers.

Of the 2, the one that will survive is Pharma - they actually do something and invent drugs. They also screw us more than imaginable, but that is another issue. Insurers do nothing but add an unnecessary layer and take away value.

Who did the White House and Baucus cut a deal with? Pharma. Who has been quietly taken care of in the health reform bill? Pharma Negotiated drugs for Medicare BUT negotiated by 1 person ,the HHS Sec, pretty much under the Pres's control. They also got the Eshoo amendment with 12 years of data exclusivity and the promise of eternal evergreening unless it is changed. They also got the promise to be left alone except for their paltry 80 billion over 10 years concession.

So I would GUESS that insurers are behind the ads.
