1. I went to two polling places in a heavily populated Dem county..
The polls workers at both locations said the voting was brisk. I myself could see that turnout was good. But that doesn't let me know who people voted for. :scared:

3. We have a Dem governor, "we're" counting the ballots.

4. I work in NJ
and I have to say, I'm a bit dismayed about how they run elections on this coast. I moved from the Pacific Northwest about two and a half years ago, and in both the big cities and the small towns, you had political signs at every place they could fit, and people on street corners waiving signs for their candidates.

I've seen none of that today in northern NJ. Took a trip with my lady to her sister's down the shore last weekend, and didn't see too many signs (except for a few very local races) on the way down or back. There was a small handful of Corzine signs, but many more for Christie as we made our way into the affluent neighborhoods. Still, it's nowhere near the excitement (and chaos) that I got used to in the NW.
