It is interesting with the media spin, they just seem to factor in reality...

It is interesting. The media is just DYING to report any dem loss as a weakening of the left, and the Blue Dogs and Republicans are already framing any democratic loss as a sign that Americans are turning towards their 'conservative' views.

It has no basis in fact. It doesn't reflect anything.

No one will pay any attention to the fact (regardless of the outcome) that there is a steadily and rapidly growing number of Americans who believe that the government does not represent them at all. This health care debacle, the bail outs to Wall St & the banking industry, the wholesale sell out of American jobs overseas through NAFTA, the endless ongoing wars that gooble up resources we don't have and waste lives for a cause no one quite understands...

The fact that the American people are breaking apart under the strain doesn't quite catch their notice. The fact that we are floundering without jobs or leadership, as our government remains vested in maintaining and expanding the status quo, these realities just don't seem to compute.

The people have not become more conservative. The left has not realigned center. And, the right wing lunatics are viewed by the majority as just that....lunatics.

The media won't report tonight the quiet and painful awakening of millions of people to the political reality that can no longer be ignored now that the dems control Washington.....

Both parties sell us out to their corporate masters. Wealth rules. And, the people are floundering without leadership or direction.

The people, right now, are nothing more then deer in the headlights.
