Any Tricky Ballot Measures Out There in your Neck of the Woods?

Ohio has Measure 3, which allows a single investor group to build four Casinos in the state (and nothing more). They have the sites picked out, they're from a single group of investors. They want to amend the state constitution to allow them - just them - to build. They also want to ban the practice of "fish frys" (fish + gambling) used by VFW's, etc as a fundraising tool.

Lotsa slick advertising - job creation, tax revenues, etc, etc. I think will pass - even though it's not helpful to Ohio in the long-term - we really really need jobs.

You vote yes, yes don't remove the cameras. Or..No, remove the cameras. I am certain that most folks will mean to vote opposite of what intend.

I didn't even know the damn cameras were going to be on the ballot.
I've yet to see one commercial about that. It's quite the hot topic around here.

Just say "NO" to remote traffic ticketing.
