Fox News
Do you Agree With this Letter To the Editor

"This latest attempt of President Barack Obama to attack a major news organization by attempting to ostracize Fox News from an interview while allowing the rest of the media access is one of the most frightening moves he's made yet and should be ringing bells and whistles of alarm for freedom of press and freedom of speech.

This act is akin to what a dictator in Venezuela or Cuba would do: keep your constituents ignorant of information and protect power.

While I have a certain amount of respect for the rest of the media for insisting that Fox be given access to the interview, I suspect there was a certain amount of self-preservation knowing, under certain circumstances, they could be next.

Apparently, even some of those who are in bed with Obama are not yet ready for this kind of political posturing. I pray they never will be.

This was an unwise move for Obama and his cronies, who claimed that Fox isn't really a news network but an opinion network, and thus should not be allowed selected, pertinent information of White House choosing. Rahm Emanuel, chief of staff, warned the other networks not to be led by the Fox network. Scary stuff.

Fox News keeps the public apprised of what's really happening. When those in the White House are gone, the media will still be here, hopefully still able to do what they should do: Report the truth, regardless of ow unpopular it might be with our leaders"

In my opinion, Fox News reports the news but it reports the news with overtly bias overtone towards conservative views. Sometimes, it views that overemphasises some stories like ACORN and not report other stories such as torture committed by US forces and CIA.

It does not apologize for being wrong when it misreports the news and never apologized for being wrong on Iraq. It is one thing to report news with an conservative slant but you misreport the news and are wrong, it is your responsiblity to be brutally honest and state that you were wrong and misled by a crazy, warmongering President that last served in the White News

It might have good reporting on somes stories but you have to know exactly what your looking for and know how to filter a lot of BS and spin that is on the stories

9. Third.
Just observing the mindless, zombie state of Faux viewers, they can't even pick up the remote (or pc mouse) and objectively fact gather from a variety of news sources and come to their own conclusions about any specific issue.

Even the desire to come their OWN conclusions based on that variety of facts is completely MIA. Faux appeals to the prehistoric brain and makes it grow big and strong.

Faux News viewers eat Faux News and Faux News eats brains.

6. Many did and we got Hitler as a result. That is the kind of person that Beck/Limbaugh, et al will
bring this country. You can see how easy it was for the third reich to come to power in Germany. (granted a much smaller country) Many people are lazy, love sensationalism and controversy and are easily frightened. Those are the people that are easily led and make up the bulk of Fox viewers in my opinion.

4. absolutely NOT. And if you agree with it, you have fallen for propaganda.
That is the truly frightening aspect of Fox. The propadanda outlet has so many blind followers who hang on and BELIEVE their every word with no evidence!

(1) What a fucking surprise...nitwits projecting exactly what faux-spews does daily with constant spin, simple opinion stated as fact, and the blatant misinformation which is their bread and butter, on to the Democratic President.

(2) If they had any real reporters, actual journalists, and legitimate sources to draw on, they wouldn't have to worry about being spoon-fed propaganda from the corporate elite on a daily basis, which is the keystone of their brand of "news." But they don't, so they are not actually a news channel...they are a for-profit paid propaganda channel for the upper 5-percent and proponents for the complete deregulation of everything arm.

(3) This is not Cuba or Venezuela. Stick that dog whistle up your ass. This constant "OMG...the commies are coming to get us!!!1! horse shit is not only insulting, it is as old and outdated as Reagan's rotting corpse. No one has shut the fucking fox-news channel down and exiled their executives. Jesus fucking christ...is that the only talking points you pinheads ever have?
