My "media bias" letter makes it into print
BIASED?

If there was ever any doubt about media bias, it was settled recently in the amount of media coverage of two separate marches on Washington. The “Tea Party” march was promoted for weeks on Fox News and got wall-to-wall coverage there. The other networks also devoted significant coverage of this “9/12” event. Most estimates have the crowd there at 50,000 to 75,000. A few weeks later, there was a gay rights march on Washington, D.C. It was attended by about the same amount of people. Yet, there was almost zero coverage of this march on the networks, despite it being just as well attended. I think that should close the case and prove the media is biased towards Republicans.

1. There was more than that at GLBT demo.
Organizers said 150-200 thousand. Police Dept doesn't make estimates anymore.

300,000 was the Park Police estimate for the 2000 GLBT march ( or the '93 march; can't rememebr which.)

This year wasn't as big as either of the earlier two but it was almost that big: about 150,000, imo. Certainly more than 1/2 of the low-balled Park Police estimate.

In any case, your point is well taken; the media likes its GLBT's invisible. Especially its *political* GLBTs.

And the corporate media is, by definition, RW.
