Thom Hartmann has said elected officials need to raise $20,000 every day to be competitive and stay in office.

The fact that Grayson will have raised over half a million $$ within a 24-hour period speaks volumes.

9. The Republicans plan : "Don't get sick. If you do die quickly"

The Democrats plan - give all your money to the insurance companies or face big tax fines, throw them billions in new tax payer funded subsidies, hope and pray they don't find a new set of ways to deny you health care that aren't prohibited by this bill and won't be addressed in the next 20 years. Create a hobbled "public option" that actually costs more then regular insurance and becomes a dumping ground for the people the insurers won't touch with a ten foot pole.

The people's plan - build on what works by improving and extending medicare to everyone with no out of pocket expenses (no deductibles, no premiums, no co-payments). Pay for it with progressive taxation.

Money In Politics elected the Democrats and we get the Democratic plan.
