21. That looks like tanning pits for leather. The second picture is in Ethiopia.

Those churches were chiseled out of living rock. They built their churches under ground so marauders (invaders) couldn't see them from a distance.

4. Lot's of Mantids...if it weren't for them I'd love it.

Something about Mantids...they freak me out. The eyes? The angularities? The spines? I don't know, but they freak me out.

Great color, super backgrounds, excellent lighting.
Some of the colors in some of the photos looked a little over saturated, but the effect was good.
