Help with a WaPo article on health care costs that disappeared
Edited on Mon Nov-02-09 08:12 PM by majamay
In the Washington Post, an article written today seemed to make the case that the House bill doesn't do much to lower the cost of health care. Not the deficit, but the cost to individuals (premiums, out of pocket expenses, etc.)

The title is supposed to be "Some experts worry that cost controls in health-care reform are too cautious"

The google search says it was posted at 6:15 pm, but the link leads to a Washington Post error message stating that it "may have moved or may no longer be available".

Could it be that the health care industry gave the newspaper a call? Can anyone find this article elsewhere? Thanks.

4. It looks like this was indeed pulled.
However if you know someone who gets the HARD COPY of WaPO and they tell you the reporter's name, I am willing to call them and get the entire document - if that is what it takes.

All the stuff out there critical of Obama and Congress that stays up forever, this would be the piece that gets pulled.

Or it just may be that with industry having all the money in the world, and offering papers like WaPo huge revenue sources for the ads about hospitals and insurance plans, and Big Pharma meds, that only this one sentence will remain:

In years past, policymakers tried taming health-care growth with price controls -- in government reimbursements and through managed care...
