Yes, this was a conservative.

How far right will the Republicans go? They seem to be falling off the edge of the right side of the cliff.

2. Even if he had guaranteed withdrawal from Afghan and a strong public option, we would still vote for
Obama all over again, so who cares?

3. Many of them DID think McCain was too moderate....
From my lurking at FR, I gathered that most of them were for Fred Thompson or Mike Huckabee. Limbaugh and Coulter consistently pegged McCain as being too moderate to please the common conservative.

Post election, yeah- they seem to be convinced that they didn't have a candidate far enough to the right, so that's why they lost. Last time I checked, it's the moderate voters that tend to swing an election one way or the other, so going MORE to the extreme makes absolutely no sense. But that's freeper logic for ya.

5. We saw this in 2000 when the far right was afraid McCain would beat Bush
Anyone more liberal than Attila the Hun is "liberal" to those whack jobs.

6. And now they think Bush was "too liberal"
Ridiculous.

Soon they'll be calling Palin, DeMint, Bachmann, and King "RINOs."

7. McCain campaigned as an environmentalist and a man-of-peace in 2008.

That's how his TV ads portrayed him.

8. Whenever a conservative fails, the baby Jesus cries
And when that happens, the Mighty Republican Wurlitzer wheezes into action to deny that the failure was ever a conservative in the first place. Trying to get these jokers to admit the error of their ways is just slightly more difficult than nailing jell-o to a tree.

9. Soon Sarah Palin will be too liberal
If she's the national candidate in 2012, she'll have to prove her credentials by waterboarding people on the convention stage.
