Been wonderin' why the same folks who lead us into this swamp filled with crocodiles are still at the front of the expedition and calling the shots? I know I have been.

1. Because the first to wade in, those in the lead, just stir up the crocs -
it's the people farther back in line that get et.

2. Betting parlor?
Implies that the suckers have a chance to win; I think it's more properly the world's largest game of three card monte. As far as hapless investors, pensioners, folks trying to save for their old age, or improve their lot? We're just here to keep pumping money into the system. Goldman Sachs (for one) sells a big shitpile at a premium price to its clueless marks, then quietly bets that the value of the commodity will tank.

"Tell him the good part, Randolph." "Whether our clients make money or lose money, Duke & Duke earns a commission on the sale."

4. I like betting parlor. I like three card monte. But, I think it needs a Mafia name. That's what

it has become. Framing. We need something that tells it like it is. Parlor may sound a little too Victorian. Three card monte might sound like individual, roving sidewalk type sleaziness.

Wall Street is the opposite of dignity. We need a new name.

5. Nowadays it is a shell game. Given the odds you have of winning at a betting parlor, I
don't think that's too far off target, but if we can come up with a moniker that is even more descriptive, I'm all for it.
