5. I agree - but you realize that without Empire, the US will need to completely...

rebuild our Economy. It would (will???) make the Great Depression look minor.

It would be like a person bedridden for a year trying to hop out of bed - they have to learn how to walk all over again while rebuilding leg muscles.
