4. We should start a PAC: The Committee To Outbid The Douchebags
What the PAC would do is to publish how much money they've raised, and then promise to give it to the first Blue Cross Democrat who is willing to change their vote.

3. I emailed him from California and got a response
I didn't expect any answer but hoped to be part of a flood of emails that they would, at the very least, have to spend time deleting. Or that someone might count in order to give Lieberman some summary of 'samplings' of emails. Here's the response.

Dear Ms. XXXXXXX:

Thank you for taking the time to contact me. I appreciate
the opportunity to know your opinions on the pressing issues facing our
nation. Regrettably, due to the huge volume of mail that I receive, I
am only able to research and address comments sent to me from
Connecticut residents. If you are not from Connecticut, you may want to
consider sending a message to the Senators from your state of residence.
You can do so by visiting http://www.senate.gov for a link to the
websites of each member of the United State Senate. If you are
currently residing out of state, but are still a Connecticut resident or
have a connection to Connecticut, please be certain to use your
Connecticut address or indicate your Connecticut connection in the first
paragraph of your email.

I value having the benefit of your thoughtful concerns,
since I do receive detailed weekly reports from my staff providing a
sampling of comments from across the country on timely issues before
Congress.

Thank you again for sharing your views and concerns with me.
I hope you will continue to visit my website at
http://lieberman.senate.gov for updated news about my work on behalf of
Connecticut and the nation. Please contact me if you have any
additional questions or comments about our work in Congress.

Sincerely,

Joseph
I. Lieberman
UNITED
STATES SENATOR

5. I got the same response, emailing from Michigan.....
I sent the asshole's office a copy of Robert Scheer's article laying out what a hypocritical pig he is.

6. beating a dead horse, but I did it. Left my message. Got the form letter back.
He doesn't give a shit any more. Really. I didn't tell him in my call (had to leave a message of course) that I was a slog worker for Lamont.

I haven't seen any polls cuz he's not up for reelection til 2012 but I suspect plenty of people who might have voted for him last time are pretty fed up. There's been a few LTTE but not a lot. We've got this freakin' albatross for 4 more, long years...UGH...every time I see his ugly face I want to slap him silly...
