Bush on bin Laden: ‘I guess he is not dead.’
Bush on bin Laden: ‘I guess he is not dead.’

Eight years ago, President Bush asserted with great bravado that al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden would be taken “dead or alive.” “I don’t care, dead or alive — either way,” Bush said at the time. This weekend, while attending a conference of business leaders in New Delhi, India, Bush struck a different tone:

Asked whether al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden could be alive, Bush said “I guess he is not dead.”

He, however, noted that Laden is hiding and “not leading victory parades” or “espousing his cause” on TV.

He expressed confidence that Laden will be brought to justice which “he deserves to be” and it was a matter of time.

1. Fuck you Chimpy
You went from "git him dead or alive" to "I'm truly not concerned about him" in just 6 fucking months.

Of course Osama is actually dead. But you had nothing to do with it, you fucking coward.

4. "...not leading victory parades..."
No, not like the hundreds of victory parades in which Bush said things like (not an actual quote, so the anally-retentive "LINK???" fanatics can relax):

"An' lemme tell ya somethin' lil' feller, we're gon' GET O-sama (CHEERS), and their ain't one doggone thing he's gonna be able to DO about that (CHEERS), because terrorists are on the run on MY WATCH (cheers)"

WHATTA GUY.

Maybe his codpiece never came back from the cleaners.

Can't do a victory parade without a codpiece.

14. I had forgotten how twisted to one side his pants were that day
Every time he speaks about justice against war criminals and terrorists I just want to puke because he might as well be talking about himself and his administration.

5. The only reason I can think of to pay any further attention to Flight Suit Boy...
is to point out to Americans how little Bush ever cared about anything he did as President, beyond role playing and collecting his "I was President" merit badge.

Unless it would be actually prosecuting him for some or all of his many crimes. But I know better than to think that will ever happen.

7. “I guess he is not dead.” And now, here's my accomplice big Dick Cheney...
to drum up some much needed fear on the subject. Terra, terra terra, take it away, Dickie.

My guess is as good as yours, Junior; and I am guessing that he is dead.

9. I just realized that I've managed to avoid hearing the asshole's voice for almost 11 months now
I am so glad I don't have to give a shit what he says now, as it has absolutely no bearing on anything whatsoever.

When he was president, all the stupid crap that he used to say and do mattered because he had power.

Fuck Bush. I express confidence (hopefulness, at least) that Bush will be brought to justice -- which he deserves to be -- and it's a matter of time.
