In case you'd like to start your day with a bowl of stinking steaming CRAP....
Every morning I check Yahoo's news page while drinking my coffee.

This morning, among the top headlines, was this title: "Op-Ed: Republican calls for patient-centered wellness"

"Patient-centered wellness" -- now there's a well-crafted, useless phrase. Let's see...

By Rep. Thaddeus G. McCotter (R-Mich.)

Washington, DC — Throughout the health care debate, the majority of Americans have expressed their opposition and frustration with the president and his Democratic Congress’ radical proposals. The public is opposed to the scheme’s practical harm; frustrated by the Democrats’ arrogant refusal to listen; and justified in its concern that willful Washington politicians will impose these unhelpful proposals despite the American people’s objections.

I only skimmed from there, and can tell you it gets worse (and includes my favorite phrase, "Market Forces!"

I mean, you can either laugh or puke.

Help yourself. :puke:

2. Pretty much verifies what Grayson said.
Republican Health Care Plan:

Don't get sick. If you do get sick, die quickly.

Republicans are all hypocrites.

Oh, and by the way, Rep. McCotter is incorrect in his statement that the majority of Americans have expressed their opposition to health care reform. I guess up in his asshole, where his head is apparently most of the time, that might seem true. But out here in the real world, poll after poll indicates the majority of Americans WANT health care reform.

These liars and hypocrites should be called out on their lies.

4. Don't tell me; "patient-centered wellness" is another way of saying
"You are responsible for everything that happens to your body. If something goes wrong, don't come crying to doctors or insurance companies to help make you well again, because whatever happened is YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT and you should pay for it with YOUR OWN DAMN MONEY. So say we the Republicans, the Party of Personal Responsibility."

I just can't read it. I'm sorry. The stuff about "Democrats' arrogant refusal to listen" already keys me in to the knowledge that this guy is in his own private world.

I am sure that when he was a child and he wanted a cookie before dinner and his mother had to listen to him whine for three straight hours before she finally broke down and let him eat all the cookies he wanted, he accused her, too, of an "arrogant refusal to listen."

He's also fantasizing heavily, indicated by his claim that the American people object to health care reform and are having it shoved down their throats.

No, I don't need to read the words of a person who is not operating out of reality. They will only get me angry.

7. I'm going to laugh about it, since I take inulin, puking is not in my "patient centered wellness"
interest.

And the critically-thinking challenged faux journalists will eat it up--you know it as well as I do; that's why they do this stuff.

Okay, I feel a cyber-barf is necessary: :puke: I do feel a little better now.

8. If you get sick, your economic status will determine your quality of health care.
If you are born rich and play your cards right, you have nothing to worry about.
