Media Whore John King of CNN
Edited on Sun Nov-01-09 01:47 PM by dennis4868
This is probably old news here but I watched for the first time the Sunday news show State of the Union with John King on CNN and I felt like I was watching FOX News,

Mr. King never challenged House Minority Leader Boehner today when he was saying all kinds of outright lies. For example, Boehner said that the House health reform plan will cause all the tax payers to go broke. Mr. King seemed to like that line and let it go. My father who watches the show every week tells me that King never challenges Repubs and goes after Dems all the time.

Mr. King also made the statement that the White House failed with the H1NI Virus flu vaccine by not making it fast enough. He said it in such a way that there is no doubt about this and everyone agrees with this statement. But this is crazy. The private pharmaceutical industry has failed, not government. President Obama is not in the White Green Room making the vaccine himself and is not doing it fast enough. It seemed like this is what Mr. King meant when he said that the White House has failed. WTF?

1. John King fits right in on CNN "The least trusted name in news (after Fox)"
This is why today's M$M enables Republicans to pull this shit. Time and time again, I've seen everyone from Dick Cheney on down make statements that weren't true, and had been debunked hundreds of times. Yet they were allowed to pass on it, as if it were a true statement.

Take the time to write to CNN and let them know you noticed their lack of accountability. Tell them that for a network that advertises itself to be "The most trusted name in news" they lack honesty in their reporting. Let them know you will not support their advertisers. And LET THE ADVERTISERS KNOW you aren't buying their products because of their support of propaganda.

There probably isn't a week that goes by that I don't write to CNN to complain. Perhaps it does no good, but I would think with falling ratings they've got to be concerned. At some point, perhaps they'll read the messages to see what people are saying and why they aren't watching.

2. The president takes the blame when things go wrong and the credit
when things go right.

It's always been that way whether it's true or not.

7. they lie to the gallery
and the gallery wants to be lied to (soothed) cuz the truth would scare 'em to death. The fact is, king is a minor criminal in the hierarchy of political media thugs. And it doesn't matter, after all. Generations of popular entertainment selling the rightwing message have made the 'big lie' message almost intrinsic to understanding- thus we've gotten to where the pig tells the people what THEY think, THEY think they think, they THINK THEY THINK! (or something like that). We leftie/liberal know the score, because we reject the very idea that 2 times 2 equal 'whatever number' the pig tosses in, even 4.

8. Even when he's not lying, he has a way of coloring the news.
A talented whore. An artiste.

9. He's AWFUL
And transparent. The whole show was Boehner and Haley Barbour. And he couldn't have been more obsequious if he'd tried.

Why doesn't MSNBC program anything on the weekends?
