Attention shoppers!
There is not going to be a bi-partisan bill. Forget it, sweep it under the rug, stick a fork in it's ass.....aint gonna happen. So, since we are going to have to do it by ourselves, you are gonna have to come up with something better than the garbage you have on the table. We want a ROBUST public option that will serve at least 30% of the nation and provide REAL competition among insurance companies! We aren't stupid. We know what the fuck is going on. MAke up your mind, either you are for the people or you are for the insurance companies. We will be voting according to your choice next election. All the campaign donations in the world won't help if you can't get votes, and we are not voting for ignorant, greedy, narcissistic assholes who side with insurance companies.

1. We really didn't need a complicated bill at all.
We simply needed to lower the Medicare eligibility age incrementally until all Americans were covered. Medicare needs some work, but that shouldn't face heavy opposition.

2. hr676..... like 6 pages long.... easy to read, easy to understand...
why the hell are we not even discussing this as an option... even if it exists as the public option that we can all buy into if we are not satisfied with the crappy insurance companies!! and everyone should be able to buy into it. not this bs about only the uninsured and unable to be insured. lets make sure that the only people on a public plan are the ones too sick to get insurance.... gee, how could THAT not work!! the whole point is to have enough folks in the pool and most not needing to use it. how hard is that to friggin figure out!! that would surely explain why the insurance companies only want folks who won't use it.

4. sorry... the insurance companies wouldn't be spending all that money for nothing.
they have bought enough congressfolk to ensure that they will get something that favors them.... unfortunately that doesn't bode well for the rest of us. What i don't understand is that if the congress works for us, then WE are their employers. I wish we could make then have the same crappy insurance the rest of us have and the same amount of money to pay bills AND try to go to the doctor with a high deductible. If they were in our boat, wouldn't they be more inclined to friggin do SOMETHING to help the people they are supposed to be representing!!! medicare for all seems to be what we need.... but it won't be what we get.
