Take a look at fuel prices. It's increasing, and we're being screwed six ways from Sunday.

Yo, Obama, Congressdorks - time to introduce a bill to force the COLA increase for SS to 50%.

1. They could never get that to pass! SS already doesn't have much $$

and certainly not enough to spare. Besides, I this if one piese of COLA is authorized, the whole COLA program has to be. That means Congressional pay increases, and every other Fed employees wages that are in the program. It's actually in the SS law that medicare rates cannot be increased higher than the COLA increase.

Gas prices fluctuate, so does the price of almost everything else.

I did hear that Obama was going to issue a $250 check to every SS recipient, although I haven't heard anything about that in maybe a week or so. Unless you drive an awful lot, that should cover your Gas price increase.
