Jeb Bush: Obama trying to 'attack capitalism'
Posted: October 29th, 2009 04:53 PM ET

From CNN Political Producer Peter Hamby

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Since his brother left office in January, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has been mostly diplomatic when discussing the Obama administration.

On Wednesday, he took a sharper tone.

During remarks to a U.S. Chamber of Commerce legal summit in Washington, Bush had tough words for the president in response to an audience question.

"I think President Obama has used the bully pulpit as a way to attack capitalism," he said, according to LegalNewsline.com.

Bush paused a moment, then acknowledged: "That'll make the news."

5. Capitalism has nothing to worry about from Obama
He really hasn't done anything that could be construed as an "attack".

The Capitalists have never had it better.

6. Dear Jeb: Shut Yer Cake Hole!
The very idea that people will still actually believe anything any member of the Bush family has to say proves to me how far we still have left to travel as a nation. These people embody the banality of evil with every leering gesture.

It is no coincidence this occurred at the USCoC, meeting however. Those evil little pukes have managed to camouflage themselves pretty well with their name until this point but the truth is slowly coming out.

29. In truth, it was a 40+ year slow-gathering bonfire.
It was already well ablaze; Bewsh just poured a cistern loaded with gasoline on it.

Guess that's what happens when you try to be Ronald Reagan turned up to 100 in all the wrong directions.

8. "That'll make the news." "Now watch this drive!" Like brother like brother.
Jebbie doesn't seem to get it that by reminding people of his brother he does himself no good politically.

You know, turn the government over to private interests and then raid the US treasury...

12. Christ Jeb! If Obama really was the big bad socialist...
... he would have nationalized some of the banks, and maybe even GM and/or Chrysler. The very fact that he pretty much took nationalization OFF the table from the git go (let's not even get started about health care), should be proof enough that Obama ain't no socialist! Maybe he should have done (or do) some real socialist stuff. Then what would you call him, Jeb? Huh?

I have news for you, Jeb, 'capitalism' isn't grabbing everything not nailed down that doesn't belong to you and running out the door.

'Ol Jeb is mad that the Bush Family cannot just steal us blind without getting called on it.

19. Capitalism NEEDS to be attacked.
Rampant greed nearly destroyed the global economy.

The rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the middle class disappears, and along with them goes the American dream.

Eight years of the Bush II Administration has proven to us that the trickle down theory doesn't work. We lost jobs. Numbers of people living in poverty grew. Average income declined. The average quality of life declined.

This coming from the brother of the worst President in United States' history, grandson of the man who supplied arms to Hitler in violation of American laws. Son to the man involved in the Iran-Contra scandal, brother to Neil, who snuck out of Denver under cover of darkness after his savings and loan collapsed, and took with with it the livelihood of many.

And of course, Jeb is the man who left Florida with a lot of problems upon his exit as Governor.

Shut the fuck up, Jeb. America has had enough of The Bush Crime Family™. If there were any justice in this country, most of you would be in jail for the crimes you've committed.

20. Hey Jeb, remember when we the taxpayers bailed your brother Neil out of the Savings & Loans crisis??
Yep, didn't think so :eyes:

The Relatively Charmed Life Of Neil Bush

But Neil Bush has surpassed them all. Bush has done something that no other American has ever accomplished: He has become the embarrassing relative of not one but two presidents.

In the late '80s and early '90s, Bush embarrassed his father, George H.W. Bush, with his shady dealings as a board member of the infamous Silverado Savings and Loan, whose collapse cost taxpayers $1 billion.

Now Bush has embarrassed his brother George W. Bush with a made-for-the-tabloids divorce that featured paternity rumors, a defamation suit and, believe it or not, allegations of voodoo.

Edited on Fri Oct-30-09 10:25 AM by Hubert Flottz
The best they could come up with to speak at their "legal summit" was a liar and a thief.

After his brother turned his back on New Orleans, Jeb helped his friends steal from the people down there.
