3. Recommend. She was a sweetheart.
I got to know her in the early 1970s.

She was simply awesome. I read her columns right up until the end. She was my favorite columnist.

12. No, just took the name of that quality Texas liberal paper.
I've known several of their writers over the years, however.

5. What Would Molly Say?
I wish she were still around giving us a piece of her mind . . . she had the ability to blow away the smoke and smash the mirrors while laughing her ass off. I loved the way she thought. She told us about what an idiot Bush II was way before he made it out of Texas. She was a real cowgirl for Democracy. I hope there is a heaven because my idea of a great afterlife would be sitting on a cloud throwing back a few with Molly Ivins and Ann Richards.

7. What I really miss about her
is that she could be as serious as a heart attack about issues and still find somewhere to make you laugh. She wasn't

mean, and I sure wish she was here to write about birthers, Bachmann, et al.

Oh, the laughs she'd have gotten and given. She is so very sorely missed.

*sigh*

20. It is written by some
very good people. I am looking forward to it. I will celebrate her life, but I know it will also make me melancholy because I miss her voice.

19. I will never forget Miss Molly
I read her stuff for years and years; she was one of my very favorite writers.

There are days when I really miss her. I'm sure she'd have many a thing to say these days, just as she always did.
