Poll question: Do You Support (Further) US Military Actions in Pakistan?
The same arguments given for our continued, and escalating, presence in Afghanistan can be applied to Pakistan. In fact, they are actually more logical when applied to Pakistan. We carry out regular bombings inside Pakistan, with drones. We have recorded 12 US soldier deaths in Pakistan.

Pakistan in spiraling into a civil war. Do you support a US military presence and action in Pakistan?

1. Pakistan will be a clusterfuck of major proportions...
...but I think we've already thrown enough fuel on that fire, thank you very much.

2. No, with one exception - the Pakistani government has to ask us for help, or
we have intelligence that is 99% certain about the very most wanted fugitives residing or located in a specific place there, and we have a short timeframe to act on that intelligence.

Note: information that a meeting of the Taliban is occurring is not sufficient. It must be Mullah Omar, OBL or someone of that caliber.

3. If a group in Pakistan has or will killed Americans and Pakistan won't turn them over

or do anything about them - they if there is good intelligence to arrest someone or kill
someone - yes

But I would have been in favor of stopping 9-11 as well even if it meant offending Afghanistan

5. Define "will kill"?
And, what if those Americans killed were occupiers of the neighboring country?

6. "When stuck in hole, stop digging." Applies to that question.
Unfortunately, the politicians and the Pentagon have shovels given to them by the MIC.

7. Thanks but no thanks
We're fucking up very nicely in iraq and Afghanistan at present. Wouldn't want to appear gluttons for punishment, now would we.
