and State Rep. Darren Soto (D-FL49):

Help us send Amy Mercado to Tallahassee and unseat the next Speaker of the Florida House, Dean Cannon (R-FL35). This would really sting them hard, showing "Driller" Dean Cannon the door (he wants to drill for oil only 3 to 10 miles off Florida's shoreline!) and putting another Hispanic into what was assumed to be a "safe" Republican state house seat.

Although Dean has won this seat in the past because he's had the luxury of facing off against last minute candidates without any real organization behind them, District 35 it turns out is actually registered Democratic and we can win it with the right candidate with money, team and skills.

Amy's got the skills and the team to win this race. She just needs financial support. Please consider donating:

1. Just Heard On The Dylan Ratigan Show That Anthony Weiner Calls
Alan Grayson... "one fry short of a happy" which implied that many Democrats want him to at the very least SLOW IT DOWN!!

I will admit that his "in your face attitude" has been a breath of fresh air, but he's getting close to going over the line a bit. His comments on Bill Maher were pretty harsh, when talking about "blood dripping from Cheney's mouth!" His depiction of Cheney is "spot on" but is it just OKAY to spout this so openly on Big Time TV! Maher's comment right after that was something like "whoa there" so he must have felt Grayson, who doesn't want to pull any punches may have crossed a "certain line" too!

I'm in Grayson's corner, but I feel he needs to "cool his jets" down to a slow roar a bit! And I'm admittedly a Liberal! He will have Repukes using him as a POSTER BOY and comparing him to our version of Rush LIMPBALLS, PERHAPS!!

I want him to stay steady with fighting the good fight, but certain phases might be better left said behind the scene!

JMHO!!

2. I'm ecstatic with Alan standing up to these bullies.
I like Weiner but he could be more forceful.

I'm also a huge fan of Al Franken and Barney Frank because they get "in your face" with these guys.
