Opinions of Sen. Ron Wyden (D–OR)?

He's been on Countdown and The Rachel Maddow Show many times throughout the progression of health care reform in the Senate. And he's on Rachel again tonight. This Oregonian is very curious to know how DUers, especially the non-Oregonian ones, feel about Sen. Wyden, based on his appearances on these shows, or any other appearances you might have seen.

3. I just watched him on Rachel- thought he was terrific and spot on.
I'll trade Bill Nelson for him any day!

4. Oh man. From what I hear, Nelson is just... yeah...
My feelings about Wyden are generally positive. It seemed for a while there that he didn't support the public option (though I might very well have heard wrong). But the things he's saying these days on TV make a lot of sense. Things are looking like I'd be able to vote for his re-election somewhat proudly in 2010.
