Can Someone Explain The "Republican Plan For Healthcare Reform"?
All I hear is spend less, keep Government from taking over healthcare, and leave it up to private insurers to find and cut the costs.

That my friends is no plan.

Anyone have a link to the official Republican Plan?

8. Tort reform is what they want...
Because it will reduce the amount of money Democratic trial lawyers will receive.

10. 3 step program:
1) Tort reform (people lose their rights)

2) Tax cuts for the rich (won't do anything but it's required in all Republican plans)

3) Medical Savings Accounts, part of the 'ownership society' (you're on your own if you can't save enough)

14. I think the idea is...
I think the general idea is that no reform is needed per se; people just have to acknowledge that, if they don't have health insurance, it's because they're lazy and they don't deserve it.

Oh, and tort reform!

22. None of these amount to a Republican Plan for Healthcare Reform...
Just like saying 'tort reform' is healthcare reform is NOT A PLAN.

That's it, in a nutshell.
