1. Is that the one where they go through and point out...
...all the closeted Republicans? I caught that one morning; it went on and out. I thought it was a telethon rather than a documentary :)

Apparently, you'd be more right than wrong if you just assume all Republicans are closeted gay people!

2. Why can't this just be a great double feature?
Sorry, not trying to be an ass, but would you refer to "Raisin in the Sun" and "Roots" as a "great African American double feature"?

Why not just a great double feature(Loved Milk, haven't seen Outrage)?

3. that is a fair critiicism but I have to say I wouldn't call Roots and anything a double feature
Roots is a 7 feature by itself.

5. Well, yeah, you got a point there,
Brain is fried from too much grading, taking a bit of a break, getting back to it all soon enough.

I'm not trying to be critical here, I just think that we all need to work towards where we don't differentiate by sex, race, sexual orientation, etc. I know, we've got a long way to go and I think that oppressed groups have to go through that stage of being proud of their contributions, I understand that. Perhaps in the next hundred years we'll have evolved to where we can move beyond that and all just be humans:toast:

7. "Milk" is a wonderful movie. I was moved to tears.
Sean Penn was miraculous. I can't praise that movie highly enough...
