Welcome to the Psychosis Party! Bachmann endorses idea of King for President
Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) told the Sioux City Journal this week that she is not pursuing a presidential run in 2012.

Disappointing some, the Minnesota Congresswoman said, "Goodness, I've only been in the House for three years, so, no, I'm not considering anything like that."

Who would she like to see vie for her party's presidential candidacy? Bachmann said that she would suggest that Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) seek the White House:

Steve King is mentioned as a potential nominee. I have a very high opinion of Steve King and his ability, so I would encourage him to consider any position for higher office.

4. There are a few people in Congress who are both batshit crazy and
dumb as a box of hammers. Michelle Bachmann is one of them; Steve King is another. They're made for each other.

8. A few months ago I caught the two of them on CSPAN
King was making a speech on the House floor. It was in the evening and it looked like there were very few people in the chamber. However, Bachmann was there and every so often she'd ask if the "gentleman would yield" - then she'd make some kind of comment agreeing with King and he'd ask with the "gentlewoman would yield".

They went back and forth like this for quite a while (I think there was a thread here tracking the action).

I was really surprised no aides showed up to pour cold water on them. If it had been a skit on SNL they would have wound up rolling on the floor together.

5. Picked up aquote from her back in August
"That's why people need to continue to go to the town halls, continue to melt the phone lines of their liberal members of Congress," said Bachmann, "and let them know, under no certain circumstances will I give the government control over my body and my health care decisions."

Would it be possible to try and get a statement from her office asking whether she's still firmly anti-choice? If so, can you then please inquire as to why she doesn't consider her uterus part of her body?? She just can not make up her mind about what is part of a body.

11. I think Olbermann
as well as Stephanie Miller picked up on that comment and welcomed her to the prochoice side.
