Freeper lady ("Kristinn") upset at low turnout at Pro-Pissypants rally

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1775257/posts

I'm angry. I'm angry at the 'antiwar' protesters who heaped abuse on our troops. And I'm angry at the people who couldn't be bothered to stand up for our troops yesterday.

Tens of thousands of anti-American leftists and their dupes marched on our nation's capital calling for America's defeat in the war on terror in Iraq.

Only about forty people could be bothered to turn out in support of America's victory in Iraq. Among those forty was a civilian POW held by the North Vietnamese communists and several Iraq war veterans--including wounded warriors who left the hospital to stand up for their brothers in arms on the home front.

1. Only about forty?
Oh Kristinn, go back to math class. There weren't more than 20 freeps there (down from 100 or so in Sept. 05, btw).

2. Forty? She's dreaming!
Thanks! I was wondering when they'd admit how feeble they were yesterday. The most pathetic thing was their little bitty sign that said "Free Republic," maybe 12x18 at most, propped up against the fence they were hiding behind. It was like a zoo exhibit.

11. think so, too
seems to be a fixture of the DC fixtures. Maybe he should wonder (rather than just whine) about the differential in numbers - perhaps the 70% against the war and 30% for it - is overstated??? 100,000+ vs 40. Oh, maybe because it was cold numbers were depressed - but wouldn't that be proportional?

I don't often use this phrase - but Kristinn seems to be a bit of a whiney baby! (appologies to all whiney babies out there...)

97. If I'm not mistaken, it's his real life name or something.
Which was where the "poor dude" thing came in. It's not just some rather unisex name like "Leslie" or "Francis" it's outright girly. I grew up with a hard-to-pronounce name and took a little shit for it. I'm sure a guy running around with a very female name had a hard time of it in school.

Or Jews that aren't from the Synagogue of Satan? :eyes:
Or truth-telling "Penteco$tal$"? (gasp!)
Or other types of perverts (other than the "sex" kind listed on the sign)?
Or people who attend protests more than study the Bible? :o (And, hey, there's a new Bible on DVD set out now, you know...what about people who watch/study the Bible on TV? OR DID I JUST BLOW YOUR MIND?!)

And which Sport'S Nuts, exactly? Are there certain SportS than have worse Nuts than others? (Yes, the improper use of the possessive irritates me. I usually try not to be anal about grammar, but I think this guy deserves it.)

Also, I'd be interested to know how this guy would feel if a woman stood next to him with an identical sign and protested the same things...because wouldn't that qualify as being "rebellious?" :eyes: :puke:

Honestly. It's people like this who give Christians a bad name. :(

Sex Drugs Rock Music... yes, and? There aren't enough of these! :spank: :toast: :headbang:

Party Animals... And what would you call * in his college days? HMMM???

Computer Freaks... Yes, I live in the 21st century, not the 12th, like you freeps. :eyes*

People that watch TV more than study the Bible... Yes that's right, I like to keep my brainwashing to a minimum.

People that talk to pets more than God... So? My fish don't judge me. As long as I feed them, they're happy.

False Religions.... what, like yours? Because I'm pretty sure you're real Christians.

Money lovers... again, why are you beating yourself up? Embrace your greed! You wouldn't want your hard-earned tax dollars to go to people that actually need it, right? :sarcasm:

Rebellious women... Damnit, I knew I forgot to do something! Have kids! Lots and lots of kids! And all their first names will start with the same letter of the alphabet! That'll teach me to think for myself...*slaps hand*

I could go on and on....but basically...if those are the things that make them sick, I will gladly make them puke their guts out! :puke: :puke: :puke:

Hundreds of thousands of patriotic Americans (including that old veteran with the tattered flag, and many other veterans of various wars, I'm sure) showed up yesterday to show support for:

- The troops in Iraq (bring them home)
- The troops who have been sent home wounded or ruined (take care of them)
- The troops who haven't yet been sent (don't send them into an illegal occupation and a Civil War)

This wonderful old gentleman is there to support the troops and this country. This country the way he remembers it can be.....not so long ago when we were proud to be Americans

May he be blessed with good things as long as he lives.

The whole march was to honor the soldiers and the vets and standing in support of them.

However it was reported that a group of war protesters were jumped, beaten up and covered with paint as they left the protest.

98. Here's the story about "spitting on a vet". Nonsense is right.
"...There were a few tense moments, however, including an encounter involving Joshua Sparling, 25, who was on crutches and who said he was a corporal with the 82nd Airborne Division and lost his right leg below the knee in Ramadi, Iraq. Mr. Sparling spoke at a smaller rally held earlier in the day at the United States Navy Memorial, and voiced his support for the administration’s policies in Iraq.

Later, as antiwar protesters passed where he and his group were standing, words were exchanged and one of the antiwar protestors spit at the ground near Mr. Sparling; he spit back..."

They are all insane idiots, with his 20-40 people being the only "smart" folks on the scene.

I'm working down through the freeper thread, thinking that maybe one of them will raise the possibility, or just mention in some oblique way, the laughable idea that they might be TOTALLY WRONG about Iraq and everything else, and that the huge majority that disagrees with them may have a point. There are over 400 posts, but I bet there isn't a sane one in the batch. Amazing!

46. I like this one.
My favorite barb, aimed at their "Stop the Expansion" sign, was to thank them for asking Iran and Syria to stop their expansion into Iraq. During the march several moonbats passed by and said something after they passed us. My favorite come back at them was, "Hey ball-less, come back and repeat that". No takers. Maybe it was the Marine Corps flag under the American flag that I was holding that kept them walking, or maybe it was my Clint Eastwood cigars that I was smoking.

No...trooprally... it was because your breath stunk.

Does that make him feel important? All the props?

We saw NO cops along the march route. It was BIZARRE. As veterans of NYC marches where we are pinned inside barricades and monitored by zillions of cops in full riot gear, it was rather shocking to have so much freedom of movement. We say nary a cop until we reached the pathetic freepers, who shouted bravely behind two sets of chain link fence and a couple of uniformed cops. VEWY BWAVE OF YOU FWEEPERS! YOU SURE SHOWED US!

Is there ANYONE in that whiny group that's not hate filled and ANGRY? God,I read some of those posts and it made me sick. Where do they get the idea that peace groups are so anti-American and anti-troops? Is it anti-troops to want them HOME SAFE with their family and friends? Is it anti-American to want our people to get the help they need if they are down and out?

Is there a psychiatrist in DU to help sort this shit out and tell us what the hell is wrong with them that their thinking is so TWISTED? If ronnie raygun didn't shut down all the nut houses they would be filled with FREEPERS and WE would be taking care of them. Because of raygun they are out running loose on the streets. No wonder they think he is their God.

Also, they keep saying how our people were screaming at them, and trying to cause trouble and they just had to "shake their heads".....every protest I've ever watched on tv never showed that kind of crap going on.....everyone looked like they were in a good mood and enjoying themselves. FReeptards are really a delusional breed of people. They just make shit up as they go. How pathetic.

Edited on Sun Jan-28-07 11:25 PM by Raydawg1234
from freeper LazarusMan:

"Opeds are a wonderful thing, marching in support of our troops is a wonderful thing, supporting your country is a wonderful thing. Problem is most people are to confounded by their own lives to have time to march. The left grabs up people whom have nothing better to do. But that is no excuse, most people on this blog seem to have an understanding that something big is coming. Not if but when it hits, I wonder who will those who spit on troops, threaten them, and call them murderers look to to defend their rights to do these hideous things.
Now for the good news, when the Islamic horde comes knocking on our shores, these same cowards will be the among the first to turn themselves in and will be the first to have their heads removed. So rest easy and do not be consumed by anger. Their day of reckoning is sooner than they think."

There were many large student groups there, including busses that came in from NC and VT, that I saw. I have no doubt that this year Earthdweller will get his wish.

It is about time the American people woke the hell up and quit blaming everything on President Bush and expecting him to handle every dang detail of wars...at home and abroad!

When the communists manage to facilitate a Vietnam redux we won't have to worry about money, TV or beer!

success pool
success pool
success pool

Say Success pool fast about 10 times and Bush doesn't have a success pool but has created a cesspool in Iraq.

Darn idiot blivet has messed up potamia when he should have kept the inspections going and the sanctions going, but not the chimpenfuhrer, he had to invade for political capital on the domestic front and for oil, just like he had planned for Afghanistan until they struck us first.

People shouldn't be expected to travel 100-plus miles. But there are certainly enough serious conservatives -- hell, serious patriots -- in metro-area DC to mount a large demonstration.

Took a day off of work to do it.

There were many, many others that came from farther away than I did. I met a lady there filming . .. she was from Alaska.

And if they couldn't be there, they were part of demonstrations in their OWN states.

That's the librul media for 'ya!

And we go further down in the responses to note that the Dem Congress not only emboldens the terrorists, it emboldens the communist/socialist groups.

Heed ye these words of wisdom:

The First Amendment is not an excuse for spitting on a wounded Iraq vet.

One didn't go because he would have ended up in jail for "punching a few of them out."

Violence is always the ultimate answer for freepers.

Then they go on defending their imaginary wounded vet that the protestors are "spitting on."

Then we have the one looking forward to the next 911:

Well, my excuse is that I'm out of the country. But honestly, kristinn, I see this endeavor as hopeless. It always takes a crisis or a deep shock to the system -- whether it was Pearl Harbor, Sputnik or 9/11 -- to jolt the American people out of complacency. We wont reform our financially disastrous entitlement programs, we wont cut our oil dependence and we wont get serious about fighting terrorism until we're forced to by a crisis. In the case of the war of Iraq and our Mideast policies in general, I don't believe anything short of another 9/11 -- potentially nuclear next time -- will succeed in combatting the insidious treason of the left and the passivity of the general public. I'm simply waiting for the next terrorist attack. Everything between now and then is noisy distraction and leftists digging their own grave, as far as I'm concerned.

141. Does Kristinn Taylor's name put images of Johnny Cash in anyone else's head?
You know...

My daddy left home when I was three
And he didn't leave much to ma and me
Just this old guitar and an empty bottle of booze.
Now, I don't blame him cause he run and hid
But the meanest thing that he ever did
Was before he left, he went and named me "Kristinn."

Well, he must o' thought that is quite a joke
And it got a lot of laughs from a' lots of folk,
It seems I had to fight my whole life through.
Some gal would giggle and I'd get red
And some guy'd laugh and I'd bust his head,
I tell ya, life ain't easy for a boy named "Kristinn."

Well, I grew up quick and I grew up mean,
My fist got hard and my wits got keen,
I'd roam from town to town to hide my shame.
But I made a vow to the moon and stars
That I'd search the honky-tonks and bars
And kill that man who gave me that awful name.

Well, it was Gatlinburg in mid-July
And I just hit town and my throat was dry,
I thought I'd stop and have myself a brew.
At an old saloon on a street of mud,
There at a table, dealing stud,
Sat the dirty, mangy dog that named me "Kristinn."

Well, I knew that snake was my own sweet dad
From a worn-out picture that my mother'd had,
And I knew that scar on his cheek and his evil eye.
He was big and bent and gray and old,
And I looked at him and my blood ran cold
And I said: "My name is 'Kristinn!' How do you do!
Now you're gonna die!!"

Well, I hit him hard right between the eyes
And he went down, but to my surprise,
He come up with a knife and cut off a piece of my ear.
But I busted a chair right across his teeth
And we crashed through the wall and into the street
Kicking and a' gouging in the mud and the blood and the beer.

I tell ya, I've fought tougher men
But I really can't remember when,
He kicked like a mule and he bit like a crocodile.
I heard him laugh and then I heard him cuss,
He went for his gun and I pulled mine first,
He stood there lookin' at me and I saw him smile.

And he said: "Son, this world is rough
And if a man's gonna make it, he's gotta be tough
And I knew I wouldn't be there to help ya along.
So I give ya that name and I said goodbye
I knew you'd have to get tough or die
And it's the name that helped to make you strong."

He said: "Now you just fought one hell of a fight
And I know you hate me, and you got the right
To kill me now, and I wouldn't blame you if you do.
But ya ought to thank me, before I die,
For the gravel in ya guts and the spit in ya eye
Cause I'm the son-of-a-bitch that named you "Kristinn.'"

I got all choked up and I threw down my gun
And I called him my pa, and he called me his son,
And I came away with a different point of view.
And I think about him, now and then,
Every time I try and every time I win,
And if I ever have a son, I think I'm gonna name him
Bill or George! Anything but Kristinn! I still hate that name!

I love this one, DEMS would never 'spit' on any service member, I dont know where they got that
from, in fact they are spitting on every single one, by allowing them to be killed for a mistake
in Iraq.
It is not 'war on terror' that we are fighting, as terrorism has been around for centuries

The last sentence is hilarious, about the Clintons, emboldens me to vote for Hillary just
to piss 'them' off!!!!!

To: SherrieG

I would be very surprised if indeed this (spitting) happened. Most of these people were core peace activists from their home areas and too sophisticated to blame servicemen for the war.

You're kidding, right?

You have NO idea what those people are like. I have a second home in Taos, New Mexico. I am surrounded by moonbats. I've attended their "demonstrations" when I'm in town. Most "peace activists" I've encountered are the most vile, hateful and miserable people I've ever met in my life. not only would they curse and spit at veterans, they'd brag about it and justify it.

----------------------------------

Amazing. He refers to peace activists as "vile, hateful, miserable people" who would delight in cursing and spitting on veterans. This leaves me totally speechless. Why would vile, hateful, and miserable people want peace anyway? In my experience, this sort of person is usually pro-war (And Republican).

These poor folks are sick in the head.
