Democrats threatening to revoke insurance co antitrust exemptions, break up companies.

Chuck Schumer in the lead on this, amongst a couple others. They want to repeal the exemptions health insurance companies get from federal anti-trust laws, meaning that the government would then be able and possibly required to break up the big companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe someone just raised the DEFCON.

After what the insurance czars pulled - with that stick-wad of a "research study" - that was basically a full-on extortion threat - maybe we need to answer back with a threat, too.
