The Insurance Giants have no Anti-Trust restraints.
This comes via the mouth of Thom Hartmann this afternoon. The Health Insurance Cabal, as he aptly calls them, are protected from Anti-Trust regulations. That means that the heads of the health insurance companies can assemble in one room and decide how much, when, and where they are going to raise premiums. They can collectively make decisions that adversely affect the well-being of every American who has health insurance. And there's nothing illegal about it.

This TRILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY has the gall to talk about competition and free markets.
