Is it possible to "buy Blue" when buying health insurance? Need recommendation

I need to buy a health insurance plan. I hate to give my money to the companies who are fighting against the reform that I am absolutely for. Is there any health insurance plan out there, where my money won't contribute to fighting against my own best interests?

Also, is there a "consumer reports" on health care, that would let me know which insurance companies are the **least bad** as far as denying claims?

I'm 48 and live in NY if that makes a difference.

1. Consumer Reports has done an excellent job with this, IMO, and has recently

taken a position in the debate, which is very unusual for them.

You can get some information without being a member, but it may be worth your while to join to get more in depth info.
