White House calls Fox a Republican tool--thank you Alan Grayson!
Ever since Alan Grayson spoke up and called the Republicans for what they are, and DID NOT get struck by
lightning, not only has he continued to do so, but others who have so far shown reticence/timidity/
"diplomatic language"/decorum etc etc etc are finally started to see that as long as you don't lie
outright, it is OK to cite an "inconvenient truth" every now and then, even when it seemed taboo up to now.

Contrary to what it might look like, I don't think the WH is "ratcheting up the rhetoric" so much as
starting to refuse to turn the other cheek. I don't see why finally saying outright that "no, Fox is
neither fair nor balanced" should be such a risqué action, but up to now, it practically has been, and
the "telling it like it is" has been left to Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, Howard Dean and the blogs,
i.e., from the adminstration's and the government's point of view (hear that, Rahm?) outsiders.

Alan Grayson took a little heat at first, but not only did he not get struck by lightning, but the MSM
is seeing that, hey the emperor really doesn't have any new clothes on after all, and it's OK to say so.

It's a sorry thing to say that we needed an Alan Grayson to finally have the guts to say all this, but
it looks like he is not the only one in the government--any more. My gratitude to him knows no bounds.
He struck the first match. Let there be light.

1. The WH started dissing Fox BEFORE Grayson.
President Obama has intentionally bypassed FOX with some fanfare, for a while now.

Please don't attribute EVERYTHING to Grayson.

5. The WH is not dissing Fox
The WH is simply telling the truth. And the truth is that Fox is an anti-American, greed-fear-and-hate based propaganda tool of the Republicon Homelander FAIL Freaks, as anyone who is paying attention already knows.

7. I came in to say the same thing.
The WH has already called out Fox News. Grayson is great and all, but come on.

3. Thank Anita Dunn:
<snip>
The general in this war is Dunn, 51, a veteran campaign strategist who arrived at the White House in May. She has been a force in Democratic campaigns since the late 1980s and helmed Obama's rapid-response operation during his run. At the White House, she has become a devoted consumer of conservative-media reports and a fierce critic of Fox News, leading the Administration's effort to block officials, including Obama, from appearing on the network. "It's opinion journalism masquerading as news," Dunn says. "They are boosting their audience. But that doesn't mean we are going to sit back." Fox News's head of news, Michael Clemente, counters that the White House criticism unfairly conflates the network's reporters and its pundits, like Glenn Beck, whom he likens to "the op-ed page of a newspaper."

It took them too long to let her loose. She would have been waging war a long time ago if they had let her.

4. Agreed on Dunn. She was a "behind -the-scenes" power during the campaign, as well.

Bipartisanship

About as realistic as waiting up on Santa with cookies and milk. Time for the dummycrats that still believe in childish things, like Santa and "Bipartisanship," to grow up. Yes Virginia, them back stabbing GOPer assholes won't ever play fair! Even the best republicans are untrustworthy, self serving, no account, swindlers and con artists. Republicans are not only the party of NO, they are the party of GREED! Greed based government is the reason America is suffering.

We need to stop nation building abroad and rebuild our own crumbling nation. That would create jobs and turn the economy around.

8. It's about time. I saw Lanny Davis on O'liely
a couple weeks ago. O'Liely asked him several times "do you think Faux is biased?" and he didn't have the guts to answer the question.

10. I run into him on occasion. Davis is just what you'd expect
He's the kind of lawyer who gives the profession a bad name, and the fact that he's supposedly on our side doesn't mitigate
the kind of guy he is.
