How many campus shootings have there beein in the last few years?

I heard a BBC report on VT in the wee hours of the morning and it began with something like "yet another campus shooting in the US..." Does anybody know how many there have been? I guess that would also include high schools and elementary schools.

1. I heard it, too. They were talking about all schools...

and I was trying to remember the other college campus shootings. There was some guy two, three years ago who shot up his thesis advisor in Ohio (?), can't remember, but I remember it was in a campus building designed by Frank Gehry. The police were complaining that the hallways in the building were too curvy.

Seems there was another incident not too much earlier than that one. Usually in the college incidents, two people or so get killed.

(List includes stabbings, poisonings, and incidents in other countries, but the bulk were in the US and by gun. It doesn't list a shooting at my former high school, when a girl was shot in the neck by another girl who was egged on by her mother, on the last day before summer break)

But what is more significant: the incidence of mass murders at schools or just mass murders in general? I wonder if we are focussing too much on a particular type of setting.
