...the words echo bittersweet,a final gift from a young Amish girl to her classmates...they have haunted me since I heard them and tonight even more so. There is a great and a gentle human spirit that can bring forth such words even in times of darkest horror...a young girl in simple dress.Semper Fidelis-even unto death.
Today was just a body count, then later comes the truth.The horror,the fear, and the pain. Marian Fisher was her name and she and her community helped this nation heal. In the cold light of morning horrible facts will emerge and our nation will again be scarred-but I will be surprised if no victim showed that gentle spirit...Sleep well,Marian.
