As incompetent as the law graduates from Pat Robertson's
college appear to be, I've been wondering exactly what they are taught there? Are they only prepared to pass a bar exam and don't learn anything else? What made me think about it is the way many children in school are taught to pass the tests for the NCLB program.

1. Prayer and force the 10 commandments upon the people
They were instilled with the right wing christofacist mentality and taught to make every case about religious persecution.

3. They are taught how to PRETEND to be college graduates....
...once they leave the school and spend their lives
surreptitiously working to overthrow the US Government
and install a "Robertsonian" fundamentalist theocracy.

Sounds a bit much when it's spelled out so simply, I know...
but that's really what it comes down to.

4. Never underestimate the power of social theory.
If everything they learn has been within a specific theoretical context (the goals of the religious right) then they're likely to be pretty useless outside of that context. A whole lot of what we learn and know is context dependent.

7. Unquestioning OBEDIENCE
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment

The lack of questioning der Fuerher leads around 30% of the population, and these blind followers, to administer the most heinous of crimes against their fellow human beings.

8. Sadly, no
The main focus of most law schools is helping students figure out sound methods of understanding the law. Regent, on the other hand, inculcates how to make legal-sounding arguments that are driven by the school's religious agenda. The arguments don't have to be coherent with one another, because the goal isn't to develop a coherent legal doctrine, it's to develop a legal doctrine that mimics the results one would achieve with a religious doctrine.

10. As Bill Maher said, they only have to study one book
And Monica Goodling has hired a "real" lawyer to defend here. Enough said? I think so.
